Troubleshooting

Sign-in fails or keeps looping

Make sure you are signed in to Fast Insight when the consent screen opens. If that does not fix it, remove the MCP server from your client and add it again to start sign-in from scratch. Also check that your client supports OAuth for remote servers.

A personal email address is refused

Fast Insight accounts are for company email addresses only. Sign up with your company email, then connect.

A study cannot be found

You may not belong to that study's workspace. Check that you can open the study in Fast Insight: the integration reaches exactly the studies you can open there.

The report is not available

A report is written automatically once enough interviews have completed. Check the completed count with get_study, then try again.

A tool says the connection lacks a permission

That permission was not allowed when you connected. Reconnect from your client and allow every permission on the consent screen.

Recruitment does not start

An agent cannot start panel recruitment on its own. Open the link launch_study returned, review the cost and approve it in Fast Insight, then ask the agent again. The approval is single-use and expires.

Client shows "Method Not Allowed"

The server is stateless and only accepts POST on /api/public/mcp. Check the server URL and that your client supports Streamable HTTP.
